10,11 and Under Try-out Information


10 & Under Division - Players who were born on or after 7/1/2012.
These players are usually in the 4th grade.

11 & Under Division - Players who were born on or after 7/1/2011.
These players are usually in the 5th grade.

Try-outs will be held on Sunday 10/23 at Norwalk High School, 350 Shady Lane Drive, Norwalk.

All players must register in order to attend try-outs.  To register please send an e-mail to [email protected]. Include player's name, school, grade in school, date of birth and preferred t-shirt size. 
Once this is received, a reply will be sent with a court try-out assignment. 

The 10,11 & Under try-out session time will be 10 AM - 12:30 PM 
One parent is asked to attend a brief informational meeting at 10 AM in the school cafeteria.

Players should arrive 20 minutes before their try-out time.
Players will enter thru the front doors of the high school.
Players need to bring a filled water bottle and should carry in their clean change of shoes.
No parents or spectators will be allowed at the try-out.

Players need to bring the following items:
    A completed NorthShore VBC Registration form...print from this website.
    A completed OVR Medical Release Form...found at ovr.org
    Sports Engine OVR try-out membership card...see below
    $15 try-out fee - cash or check made out to NorthShore VBC.

Teams will be announced the day of the try-out...either by letter home or evening call.

The organizational meeting for the 10,11 & Under teams will be 11/20, time to be announced.
The meeting will be at Norwalk High School in the cafeteria.

To register for a try-out membership go to the ovr.org website and click on JOIN...follow the prompts. Apply for a junior player try-out membership and create a Sports Engine account.
